What are experiences without remembrance?

In Gen. 2:16 "God tells adam and eve that they are FREE to eat to any tree in the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil..." Often times we focus on the second half of that verse... naturally.

right now i want to focus on the first half of the verse. you are FREE to eat of any tree... there is freedom in remembering. it seems as though God's instructions were quite clear and quit simple... you can eat of anything except this one. what happened? adam and eve simply forgot. there is NO freedom in forgetting.

life offers every opportunity to forget... those who choose to remember live life successfully.

We all know how fast life happens and the speed and velocity of the events of life, to which it seems like we cannot control. This, not only a very real thought, but also a very true thought. The fact is that we allow life to happen, most times while we sit back idle and watch like a spectator from the stands, and wonder what happened? Where did all the time go?

Summer is just about finished and if we were all honest with ourselves we could all look back and wonder where the time went? I have been saying all summer to collect experiences, not things. I can honestly say that i feel more wealthy from the experiences that i have collected from the last three months. experiences that insist to be never forgotten. it is my responsibility to REMEMBER. God is everywhere... everything belongs...

It has been a crazy last few weeks at the REALM... we have begun to get ready for our new year come september and have been in meetings and meetings, planning sessions, dream sessions... just craziness, but good.
